Montefiore Nyack Hospital has new visitation rules due to the rise of COVID cases. As of yesterday, the hospital has a “no visitor policy” with a few exceptions, including end-of-life, pediatrics or patients with cognitive or developmental impairments for which a support person is deemed essential to the care of the patient. Meanwhile, a candidate for New York Governor announced yesterday he tested positive for COVID on Wednesday. Former Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino said he is vaccinated, but has been a vocal critic of vaccine mandates and passports.
