A newly-elected assemblyman is looking to also hold on to his current role as Rockland County Legislator in the town of Ramapo. Democrat Aron Wieder defeated Republican John McGowan to capture the 97th District’s Assembly seat last November. He recently told News 12 he has unfinished business as legislator, and, there is no law forbidding holding the two offices. Wieder took the oath of office for the Assembly job on January 6th in a ceremony at RCC. Wieder will be joining us here on “The Morning Show” twice a month starting Thursday the 23rd.
