A multi-car crash in North Rockland yesterday morning stopped traffic for hours on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. News 12 said one of the cars involved hit a tree and split in half near the Anthony Wayne Recreation Area. State Police have not released any details about the accident.
A 29 year-old homicide suspect wanted for murder in the city was taken into custody after being tracked to a motel in North Rockland. That’s according to DailyVoice.com. They reported Freddie Gaetan was found at the Budget Motor Inn on South Liberty Drive in Stony Point on Wednesday. The NYPD had been looking for Gaetan since Monday. He was taken into custody without incident and turned over to the NYPD.
