Detectives located Volcy and his car the next day, he was arrested and charged with second degree Assault as a Hate Crime, Criminal Possession of a Weapon, and Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident. He was arraigned with bail set at $5,000. He was sent to the Rockland County Jail. The victim sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention.
