Pine Bush Woman Pleads Guilty to Trying to Hire Hitman
An Orange County woman got 9 1/2 years behind bars after pleading guilty to trying to hire a hitman to kill her brother-in-law. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, says 40 year-old Reshma Massarone of Pine Bush offered $10,000 to an undercover investigator she thought was a hitman. Williams says Massarone chatted with the undercover investigator on social media, she suggested using rat poison, and if he couldn’t do it, she would find someone else who would. The motive behind Massarone’s actions are unclear and remain under investigation.
