OK, everybody inhale slowly, then exhale slowly…a vote on legalized weed in New Jersey has been delayed. The Associated Press reports the New Jersey legislature abandoned voting on a bill yesterday that would have legalized recreational marijuana after the president of the state Senate said there weren’t enough votes to pass the bill. It was not immediately clear when the state legislature might take up the bill again. Meanwhile, Connecticut took a step closer to legalizing pot. A Legislative committee passed a bill by a 10-8 vote. It next needs approval in both houses of the legislature.
