A man faces DWI charges after a hit-and-run accident yesterday in Central Nyack. Around 7:45 yesterday morning, Orangetown Police called Clarkstown police to help catch a maroon pickup truck with two men inside who had fled from the accident at the corner of Waldron Avenue and Route 59 by the exit 11 ramp off the Thruway. 32 year-old Brandon Ware of Charlotte, North Carolina, was taken to Westchester Medical Center for a non-life threatening head injury. The passenger, 61 year-old Will Hochadel of Lakeland, Florida, was uninjured and not charged in the incident.
