The New York Boulders return home to Clover Stadium in Pomona tonight to start a three-game series against the Ottawa Titans. Game time 7pm tonight. They’ve lost six of their last ten games. The Boulders are in 2nd place in the Eastern Division, just a half-game ahead of the Titans. Meanwhile, a fan-favorite from the championship-winning Rockland Boulders is returning to the team tonight after a stint in the big leagues. Outfielder Stephen Cardullo will play his first professional game since 2021. He was the Boulders’ first player to reach the Majors, when he joined the Colorado Rockies in 2016. Cardullo will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans tonight. He’ll suit up and take the field with the team on Thursday. Cardullo was a key member of the Boulders’ 2014 title-winning squad, hitting a leadoff home run in the second inning of Game 6 of the Championship Series that accounted for the game-winning RBI in the series clincher.
