The New York Boulders / Ottawa Titans game was rained out last night, so they’ll try to get in two today. Game one at Clover Stadium in Pomona starts at 11AM, game two gets underway at 7pm tonight. The Boulders have lost six of their last ten games and they’re in 2nd place in the Eastern Division, just a half-game ahead of the Titans.
A fan-favorite from the championship-winning Rockland Boulders is coming home after a stint in the big leagues. Last night’s scheduled return by outfielder Stephen Cardullo was bumped thanks to the rainout. Cardullo was the Boulders’ first player to reach the Majors, when he joined the Colorado Rockies in 2016, and helped the Boulders win their only championship in 2014. Cardullo will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans tonight, and he’ll suit up to be the Designated Hitter tomorrow at 11AM his first pro game in three years.
