On a seven-game winning streak, the New York Boulders entered the second game of a three-game series at Clover Stadium in Pomona last night against the lowly Empire State Greys. The Boulders were leading 2-1 when the Greys sent their DH, Willis Estrada, up to the plate in the top of the fifth with the bases loaded and one out…
And that was Jacob Kronberg with the call on the Boulders Radio Network. The Boulders would go on to win, 8-4. The Boulders have now won eight in a row, they’re in second place in the Frontier League’s Eastern Division with just four games left on the schedule. They’re a half-game ahead of the Ottawa Titans and a game-and-a-half ahead of the Sussex County Miners. The Boulders’ last regular season home game is against the Greys tonight at 7pm, you can also hear it right here on WRCR.
