Yesterday marked day 100 since the first COVID-19 case popped up in New York. Since then, governor Andrew Cuomo said in his coronavirus press conference yesterday, in the face of dire predictions and steep early projections, New York came back strong from being in the worst situation in the nation…
Cuomo did warn, if New Yorkers get sloppy, we could see those numbers go back up. COVID-19 by the numbers now, the state has confirmed around 379,000 total cases and 24,300 deaths. In Rockland, the state says we’ve got 13,340 reported cases, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 658 fatalities here in the county.
