Rockland and Westchester state senator David Carlucci recently introduced legislation that would help financially-strapped New Yorkers and small businesses with their property tax bills. The bill would delay quarterly installment payments of county, town, village, and school property taxes through December 31, 2020. COVID-19 by the numbers, the state now has confirmed around 327,000 total cases of coronavirus across the state and 20,800 deaths. In Rockland, the state says we’ve got nearly 12,300 reported cases, and the Rockland Health Department confirms 557 deaths here in the county.
