Appearing in Blair County Court yesterday, the Associated Press reported Mangione was given two weeks to file a petition for habeas corpus, challenging Pennsylvania’s ability to prove he is the person that is wanted in the state of New York. He remains in Pennsylvania, where he was denied bail. Prosecutors called him too dangerous to be released.
