New York’s governor yesterday issued an executive order requiring everyone to wear face masks in public where maintaining social distancing is difficult. Rockland assemblyman Ken Zebrowski says this would include in grocery stores, on public transit, or even walking or running in busy neighborhoods…

Cuomo said this will all be over when we have medical treatment or a vaccine, which he says, unless the process is accelerated, could be 12-18 months. The total number of cases of coronavirus across the state is now around 214,000 and more than 11,500 deaths, with over 31-hundred cases and 298 confirmed deaths here in Rockland as of last night, a 13% increase from Tuesday’s tally.
