A Nyack man was killed Saturday night after a motorcycle crash on the New York State Thruway in Clarkstown. New York State Police say their preliminary investigation determined that 22 year-old Michael DiPierno was traveling on I-87 northbound near West Nyack, at a high rate of speed when he lost control and struck a guiderail. Police say after hitting the guiderail, DiPierno was then struck by another vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
