Both Nyack and Tarrytown have cancelled their Halloween parades, citing COVID concerns. That’s according to the Journal News. The move in Nyack comes as a surprise since the village hosted a street fair just last week. On its Facebook page, the Nyack Chamber of Commerce said there will be other “Halloween festivities” in the village next month. The number of people hospitalized in Rockland with COVID has increased since Wednesday from 22 to 27.
