The off-duty NYPD Officer from Long Island who was shot in the head during a robbery in Brooklyn over the weekend has died. 26 year-old Adeed Fayaz of Deer Park was there to buy an SUV arranged through Facebook Marketplace. Fayaz was married and the father of two children. Meanwhile, the suspect police nabbed in Nanuet on Monday now faces murder charges. 39 year-old Randy Jones was caught hiding out at the Days Inn on Route 59.
