New York will mandate COVID vaccinations for all 130,000 state employees and patient-facing health care workers at state hospitals. That is expected to happen around Labor Day. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says those who don’t get vaccinated will have to be tested…
The governor said state employees will have the option to test regularly instead of getting the vaccine, while the health care workers will not have that option. The governor also urged local governments to require all their employees to get vaccinated or submit to testing. 75 percent of adults in the state have already been vaccinated.
