An Oklahoma woman with previous drunk driving convictions will spend the next four-to-12 years in state prison after pleading guilty to killing a Kingston woman in a drunk driving crash last year in Newburgh. That’s according to News 12. 45 year-old Nicholle Hoke was sentenced yesterday in Goshen for the killing of 61-year-old Laura Chavez-Aralos in a head-on collision on Route 9W last June. Hoke was in Ulster County at the time to judge a dog competition. Prosecutors said she had a blood alcohol level of 0.16 at the time of the crash. She had crossed the double yellow line, striking Chavez-Aralos’ car, killing her and injuring several other passengers. Prosecutors said Hoke had two prior DWI convictions in Oklahoma four years ago.
