An Orangeburg woman is recovering after she was struck by a car that jumped the curb at the Pearl River Shop Rite, striking her and the building earlier this week. Orangetown Police say Monday afternoon’s incident occurred around 2:30, when a 77 year-old New City man lost control of his Jeep Cherokee, striking the 74 year-old woman and the front of the store. The woman was taken to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and released. Orangetown Police are asking anyone with information on the incident to call them at 845-359-3700.
