Orangetown Police are investigating three shootings, a stabbing and an assault that all may be connected in the village of Nyack early Sunday morning. Police say the shooting occurred near Artopee Way around 3 am on Sunday. Three men were shot. Two were taken to Nyack Hospital, but one of them, who was shot in the face, was transferred to Westchester Medical Center. The third victim, who was shot in the back, went to Good Samaritan Hospital. None of the three injuries was life-threatening. About twenty minutes prior to the shooting, near 65 Main Street, a man was stabbed and another was assaulted. They were both treated at Nyack Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
