Two burglaries in Orangetown are under investigation and may be connected. Orangetown Police say they happened in the early-morning hours on Friday in Pearl River and Orangeburg. The first was at a residence on Pinto Road in Pearl River around 4:13am. The suspects got in through a lower-level window, but fled the scene empty-handed. The second incident occurred a short time later on Howard Avenue in Orangeburg. The suspects got in through a kitchen window, and took key fobs to several cars. The suspects were wearing dark-colored, hooded sweatshirts and ski masks. They fled in a dark-colored, four-door sedan, and may have targeted high-end cars. Anyone with video from these locations or other information, is asked to call Orangetown Police at 845-359-3700.
