An Ossining man faces ten years in prison after he was arrested by the feds Friday and accused of threatening to kill U.S. postal workers and burn down two post offices in Westchester. U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, says 46 year-old Anthony Alfano made a series of graphic and violent threats on Saturday June 22nd threatening a “massacre” that would “go down in history” if his package was not delivered on-time. Williams said he was expecting cremated remains, and the package arrived on the next business day. He was charged with threatening interstate communications, and willfully making a threat involving fire. Williams said Alfano has made threats against others, including local police officers, delivery persons, and customer service representatives in the past.
