The Piermont Civic Association is bringing the music back with their traditional free summer concert series, this year named in honor of a former member who died of COVID last year. The event is named after Bob Samuels, who, Association President Joanne Ottaviano says, along with his partner, Karen, were among Piermont’s earliest COVID victims…
The first concert is scheduled for Thursday July 1st with the Fat Bois Brass Band, a nine-piece New Orleans-style group known to throw in a Grateful Dead tune every now and again. The show starts at 7pm, bring a picnic to enjoy if you want, it’s at Flywheel Park in Piermont. For more information visit PiermontCivicAssociation.org.
