A Pomona man faces prison time after pleading guilty in federal court of failing to report more than $1 million in revenue from two companies. The Journal News reports 56 year-old Michael Maroff ran General Home Systems Corp., a renovation company, and rental property management company, Monroe Commercial Properties. He reportedly deposited renters’ money into his own accounts over a three-year period. Maroff is scheduled to be sentenced next May, and faces up to three years in federal prison.
