An Airmont homeowner has reportedly dropped a lawsuit accusing village officials of permitting an illegal school and dormitory on his street. That’s according to The Journal News. The Fosse Court resident is, however, reportedly continuing to pursue legal action against the rabbi who owns the properties. Sharon Stern filed the State Supreme Court legal action last March against village officials and the building inspector, who were reportedly allowing the rabbi to illegally operate a school in a single-family house and convert a next-door residence into a dormitory. Airmont wanted the cases dismissed as improper.
