The Rockland County Clerk’s office is offline for a few days at least, after what appears to be a coordinated cyber-attack, perhaps the same one that took down Suffolk County’s systems a few months ago. That’s according to News 12. Department of Homeland Security and FBI officials are investigating the Clerk’s office, which was informed earlier this week that its software administrator found potentially malicious files in the system. Records searching, home closings and title transfers are put on hold until the issue is resolved, possibly as early as Tuesday.
