A former Suffern police officer has reportedly filed a federal lawsuit accusing the department of gender discrimination. She also accuses former colleague, William Osborn, the son of the recently-retired chief, Clarke Osborn, of sending explicit pictures to her. That’s according to LoHud.com. Former Suffern cop Tara Cable says she was pressured to resign this summer after her complaints of gender discrimination and sexual harassment went ignored. Clarke Osborn denied the accusations, and Suffern chief Andrew Loughlin told LoHud he was advised not to comment.
