A Monsey man was reportedly killed in yesterday’s small plane crash on Interstate 684 in Westchester. News 12 reports 32-year-old Yakov Friedman died when the single-engine Tecnam P-2008 crashed around 6:35 last night in Harrison near the Connecticut border. Another person was reportedly injured, but it’s not clear if Friedman was piloting the plane, which had reportedly taken off from Linden, New Jersey. The pilot is believed to have radioed he was having engine trouble and was attempting to land at Westchester County Airport. The NTSB urges witnesses to the crash to contact them by email: witness@ntsb.gov.
