Rockland Green has filed a $5 million lawsuit against former and current board members and a former employee of the Hi-Tor Animal Care Center of Pomona. That’s according to RCBizJournal.com. The site reports the suit claims breach of contract, entitling Rockland Green to more than $500,000 in damages for the ten counts in the complaint. Haverstraw supervisor Howard Phillips is the head of Rockland Green, and he says the suit was filed in Rockland County Court…
Phillips also told “The Morning Show” last month that the new shelter being planned in Haverstraw, called “RG Cares,” is moving ahead…
Hi-Tor’s current board president, Kim Von Hein, called the lawsuit harassment. Von Hein told RCBizJounal.com Hi-Tor plans to counter-sue.
