The Suffern Central School District is looking to have more meetings after controversy erupted last week over a book that was reportedly read by a counselor to some students at an elementary school earlier in the month. The district reportedly apologized for the incident, and has launched an investigation. They also are looking to hold additional conversations and host forums with parents in the future.
