Today is the 23rd anniversary of the September 11th, 2001, terror attacks on the city and the Pentagon. Ceremonies are being held throughout the county. A bell will toll at 8:46 for the first plane crash on the North Tower of the World Trade Center, again at 9:03 for the second plane crash into the South Tower. Bells will ring to mark the attack on the Pentagon, the collapse of the Towers, the crash of flight 93 in Pennsylvania, and for the 1993 Trade Center bombing.
