The Biden administration is looking to send a new $1 billion shipment of weapons to Israel, but not for the next two or three years. The Associated Press reports this comes in the wake of the president holding up a shipment of weapons earlier this month over concerns for civilian casualties during the on-going war with Hamas in Gaza. Rockland Congressman Mike Lawler of the 17th district says the administration was bowing to political pressure…
Lawler says that’s not how the U.S. should treat an ally, noting Hamas is a terror organization that gets most of its funding from Iran. The House could vote soon on a bill that would force Biden to send weapons to Israel now. The White House is expected to veto that bill.
