The proposed $730 million spending plan was unveiled by the county executive last week. It was under the property tax cap of about 3 percent. The property tax increase would be 2.87 percent, around $3 a month to the average homeowner. The Legislature has tentatively set Tuesday, November 19th for a public hearing and Tuesday, December 3rd to vote on the plan.
