The patient became weak and paralyzed, but the county has not released any other details about the person. 18 people got immunized at Friday’s vaccination clinic held at the Pomona Health Complex. Another clinic is being held today from 1:00 to 4:00pm at 50 Sanatorium Road, Building A. Rockland County residents can pre-register for a free appointment at RocklandGov.com or call 845-238-1956. Walk-ins will also be accepted. This was the first case of Polio in the U.S. in nearly a decade.
