Rockland County has launched its eighth annual toy and clothing drive to benefit the children served by the county’s Department of Social Services. County Executive Ed Day says there are several ways you can give to help make a brighter holiday for area kids…
Items can be brought to the front lobby of the county office building on New Hempstead Road in New City, the county clerk’s office in the Rockland courthouse in New City, the main lobby of Building A at the Health Center in Pomona, and at BRIDGES in the Palisades Center. Rockland State Senator Bill Weber is continuing his coat drive for the holidays, and he’s hoping to beat last year’s haul…
The drive runs through December 15th. You can bring items to Senator Weber’s office at 163 Airport Executive Park in Nanuet, or you can find drop-boxes at town halls in Ramapo, Orangetown, Clarkstown and Haverstraw. Many area libraries are participating, as well, the full list is below.
