Rockland County Legislator Aney Paul is spearheading a local effort to collect items for Hurricane Dorian victims in the Bahamas. Rockland County Haiti Relief, the JB Foundation of Haiti and Konbit Neg Lakay of Spring Valley are collecting donations today and tomorrow. The items will be taken to the Consulate General of the Bahamas in Manhattan, which will then ship the items to those in need next week. All donations must be dropped off at 16 East Church Street in Spring Valley today from 9-9 or by noon tomorrow. Call 845-425-4623 for more information.
