While it looks like the Rockland County Legislature could still tip in the Democrats’ favor, it’s not clear yet whether it’ll be 9-8. Early results had Orangetown incumbent Democrat Nancy Low-Hogan losing her bid for a 3rd four-year term to Republican James Foley, but he has a 66-vote lead with 145 absentee ballots still to be counted. Orangetown supervisor Chris Day, who was not running for re-election, was happy to see deputy town attorney Teresa Kenny defeat the former supervisor, Thom Kleiner, becoming the first woman to hold a supervisor’s office in Rockland County…
