As of yesterday, Cuomo said more than 200,000 New Yorkers have been given their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Cuomo also said he is signing an Executive Order giving an additional 30 days of death benefits for families of front line government workers. The current bill providing the benefits would have expired today.
COVID-19 by the numbers now, here in Rockland, we lost four more to COVID since yesterday, the total count stands at 767. We’ve got one hospitalized being examined, another 88 there are confirmed cases, and a total of 2,293 active cases. Overall, we’ve had 27,193 reported cases, 267 more than Wednesday.
