May is Mental Health Awareness Month and a local group has a series of events to help erase the stigma surrounding mental health. Beth Bate-Duboff is the Executive Director of the Rockland Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and she says there are free educational programs available this month every Wednesday, and that’s just the beginning…
Works from Palisades artist and NAMI board member Jocelyn DeCrescenzo are currently on display at Tappan Library and will be there all month long. There’s also a special virtual presentation on “Youth Mental Health” hosted by the Orangeburg Clinic at the Rockland Psychiatric Center. That’s tonight from 7-9PM.
