And while you may not be able to worship in your local house of worship like you once did, you may be able to get your COVID shot there. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced starting in April the “Roll Up Your Sleeve” campaign comes to all houses of worship who partner with medical providers to host vaccination clinics…
But alas, despite our local officials’ prayers, there’s still no state-run COVID facility located here in Rockland. The governor also announced that as of 8am New Yorkers age 50 and older are eligible to get the vaccine.
In New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy says the rollback of COVID-19 restrictions is on pause for now following a surge in new cases and the spread of highly contagious variants across the Garden State. That’s according to NJBiz.com, which says there’s no timeline on when the restrictions might be loosened again.
