The governor has still yet to sign a bill that would pave the way for some much-needed property tax relief for volunteer firefighters and EMS workers in New York. The bill was sponsored by Rockland State Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick, who says it’s not uncommon for lots of bills to be signed before the end of the year…
The governor would have to sign the bill or veto it, though Reichlin-Melnick says she could possibly be looking to add amendments to the bill.
