A federal stimulus package unveiled late yesterday by a bipartisan group of lawmakers could be approved as soon as tomorrow. The two bills would provide just over 900 billion dollars and include new unemployment benefits, small business aid, and other programs. It also provides state and local aid, and a controversial liability protection for businesses.
