Rockland’s County Executive broke out the veto pen and made some changes to the budget that was unanimously approved earlier this month by the legislature. The legislature now has until December 20th to override any of Day’s vetoes with a two-thirds majority vote. If the Legislature does nothing, the budget is adopted as is.
