An area college recently put its 3-D printers to the test to produce and send personal protective equipment to area first responders on the front lines working to stop the spread of the coronavirus. STAC also sent a care package to the Javits Center in the city, which included disposable lab coats, nitrile gloves, ear loop face masks, goggles, sleeve protectors, foot and hair protectors.
