As quickly as it was scheduled, it was cancelled. The South Nyack Village Board meeting that was announced late Monday night for early Tuesday afternoon to address the Nyack College situation was called off and now it’s been rescheduled for today. Concern has been growing in and around the village about what may or may not be in line to replace Nyack College, which shut its campus and relocated students into the city last December. No buyer has been officially revealed by the college or the village of South Nyack, where the college is located, but rumors have been swirling, much to the concern of the properties’ neighbors. The meeting is being held via teleconference at 12:30 this afternoon. There will be no open session at today’s event, but that will take place at the next regularly scheduled Board of Trustees Meeting on July 14th.
