A Connecticut man faces extradition to New Jersey after being arrested and charged with leading police on a high-speed chase and smashing several police vehicles. The chase began Thursday afternoon around four in Mahwah on I-287 and crossed the Tappan Zee Bridge, and along the way, New York State Police say 51 year-old Henry Cofrancesco intentionally rammed two Troop cars, and patrol cars from South Nyack and Mahwah before coming to an end in Westchester. Troopers found Cofrancesco with $3,000 in merchandise that was reportedly stolen from a Petco store in Reardon, NJ, and a Petsmart store located in Nazareth, PA. He faces numerous charges in White Plains, Tarrytown and Mahwah.
