The town of Stony Point has entered into an agreement with a Westchester-based real estate development firm to build mixed-use residential housing on about 31 acres of the former Letchworth Village campus. Supervisor Jim Monaghan says the board passed a Memorandum of Understanding with Hudson Park Group LLC, allowing them to buy and develop the land for about $3 million…
Hudson Park Group would also be required, among other things, to build a recreation center for the town. The project still needs to be approved by the planning board and pass environmental reviews. Monaghan says the project would be up to the voters. It is expected to be on this November’s ballot.
