The future of the sale of Stony Point’s portion of the old Letchworth Village and the town’s golf course may not come to a vote until September at the earliest. Supervisor Jim Monaghan says it shouldn’t happen during the summer while people are likely to be on vacation…
The town board would have to come up with a resolution to set the public vote. Stony Point announced in April they had a contract with a private developer to take over the town golf course and their 26 acres of Letchworth Village.
