A Stony Point man accused of attacking his girlfriend with a hammer has been indicted by a Rockland County Grand Jury on second degree Attempted Murder and other charges. Rockland D-A Tom Walsh says 46 year-old Todd Humphrey will face the charges stemming from an incident that allegedly took place on October 17th at the Tappan Zee Hotel on Route 303 in West Nyack. The victim called 911, she was treated for lacerations to her head. Walsh says Humphrey fled the scene but was tracked down later in the day in Putnam County, leading to a chase with State Police that ended with a crash on I-84 in Orange County. Humphrey was arraigned Tuesday and sent to the Rockland County Jail. He is due back in court November 15th.
